- 1 shot espresso
- A spoonful (~15 ml) of steamed milk foam
Method
- Pull a single shot of espresso.
- Steam a small amount of milk to a glossy microfoam.
- Spoon a small dollop of foam onto the centre of the shot.

“Macchiato” means stained or marked — it should still look mostly like espresso.
