About GramCups

GramCups is a free tool that makes cooking and baking measurements simple. We help you convert between cups, grams, ounces, tablespoons, millilitres and more, accurately, for each specific ingredient.

Why we built it

Recipes are written in different units all over the world. A US recipe uses cups; a European one uses grams. Because every ingredient has a different density, "1 cup" of flour does not weigh the same as "1 cup" of sugar or honey. GramCups uses standard density values for each ingredient so your conversions are reliable.

How accurate are the values?

Our figures are based on widely used standard densities. Real-world results can vary slightly depending on the brand, humidity, and how tightly an ingredient is packed or sifted. For the best baking results, we always recommend a kitchen scale.
