Ingredients
- 1 double shot (≈40 ml) espresso
- 40 ml steamed milk, barely any foam
Method
- Pull a shot into a small glass.
- Steam milk to silky texture with only a thin layer of foam.
- Pour an equal volume of milk through the crema.
Barista tip
The milk “cuts” the acidity — cortado comes from the Spanish cortar, to cut.
