How to make a Lungo

Ingredients

  • 18 g coffee, ground slightly coarser
  • Filtered water at ~93 °C

Method

  1. Dose and tamp, grinding a little coarser than espresso.
  2. Let the shot run long — about 60 g out over 35–45 seconds.
  3. Expect a lighter body with more aromatics (and a little more bitterness).
